Exam Prayer

Its been a long year with lots of hardships and lots of success. For most, this time of the year means exam time. the committee would like to wish everyone in the youth good luck in the upcoming exams...study hard and smart!

Loving Father,
Source of all wisdom,
help me to use my time
and my intelligence wisely
as I prepare for my exams.

Help me to dispose myself
to listen to Your Holy Spirit,
so that You, as my Loving Father,
may place me in a state of prayer
and lead me to understand
that the supreme wisdom
is knowing I am Your child.

Help me to remain serene
so that my work may truly reflect
this profound truth.

Mary, Mother of my spiritual life,
guide me in the ways of your Son,
so that my work may help
to transform this world for His glory.

Amen.

It gives me great pleasure to announce how much of a success the youth conference was. A lot of the people there got revived and most importantly everyone enjoyed themselves. if you can imagine a group of young people united in spirit, pouring their hearts out to God then you pretty much have an idea of what went down. To those that could not make it, theres the program of events with verses, names and a few pictures.

In the three years that the previouse committee has served; a lot has been achieved and there has been a great deal of commitment from the individuals in it. The serving committee had served their full term of 3 years. This prompted the selection of a new committee. Everyone decided the previouse committee was fine, it just needed minor changes. The new additions are Gugulethu Masondo, Phakamani Mhlophe and Ntokozo Mthethwa.
The majority of the people present left the selection of positions to the discretion on the committee, mainly because they know each other and they know who would do a better job at which post.
